There are a streamlined set of requirements for each individual rank available on the site. These requirements allow a character to undergo training and move up through the various ranks without placing too much strain on the RPer themselves. Keep in mind that while these requirements must be completed in order to rank up, they do not have to be completed in the order listed.
Kit to
Apprentice : Approved Creation → One Topic → 3 Days.
Apprentice to
Warrior : Completed Apprentice Ceremony → One Hunting Topic → One Battle* → Completed Lavastone Journey → 3 Weeks.
* One Battle is defined as: engaging in a battle topic versus a predator, outsider, or a cat from another clan.
Once a character has reached the status of 'Warrior', they are no longer required to participate in patrols/battles in order to rank up- however, you are still encouraged to have an active presence within your Clan. Instead, these rank ups are solely based upon time and overall level of activity on the site. Characters who stick around long enough to reach the rank of 'Senior Warrior' will receive an honorary place in the '
Hall of Senior Warriors' as a reward! Please keep in mind that these requirements can be subject to adjustments as needed.
Newly-Appointed Warrior to
Young Warrior : 3 Months since completion of Ceremony + Regular Activity on the Site/Participation in your Clan.
Young Warrior to
Warrior : 6 Months since completion of Ceremony + Regular Activity on the Site/Participation in your Clan.
Warrior to
Senior Warrior : 1 Year since completion of Ceremony + Participation in a Major Plot** + Regular Activity on the Site/Participation in your Clan.
** Participation in a Major Plot is defined as: engaging in a Clan plot, a large personal plot, or a Site-Wide event.
Medicine Cat Apprentices follow somewhat different guidelines from regular apprentices in order to be promoted to a full Medicine Cat.
Medicine Cat Apprentice to
Medicine Cat: Completed Apprentice Ceremony → Herb skills applied in 3 topics*** → Herb Patrol → One Hunting or Battle Topic → Attend a Medicine Cat Meeting → Lead a Lavastone Journey → 25 Days since completion of Ceremony.
***Herb skills include healing a cat, aiding a queen in kitting, or any situation in which a medicine cat's medical knowledge is utilized.If you have any questions or need further clarifications, please feel free to reach out to
